A permanent fixture…

I’ve begun doing engagement photo sessions for some friends, and it is now time to include details from my own. It’s true! Nearly three months ago, we signed up for life. : ) That same day we went to a nearby park just to enjoy the beautiful day and celebrate. All credit must go to Mr. Brandon Whiteside for these, as clearly I did not photograph myself. I felt inclined to share anyway. When we have a more formal session ourselves, they will quickly be posted.

the band couch

My roommate swears this couch was made for trendy band photos. Well, for such reason, we attempted to capitalize on the apparent personality it boasts. Now let me be clear–none of us are even attempting such endeavors, with the exception of my older sister, Mandy, shown as the random guitar player in photo five. I’m including her because she actually is musical. However, she has never been on the couch. Maybe that’s the only thing between her and stardom. But who said these guys couldn’t fake it? Please pay special attention to faces in these. What a bunch of characters.

They aren’t mine, but if they were it’d be ok.

I have been a nanny for an incredible family a little over a year and a half now. Their children, Stevie (4) and Genevieve (2) are the worthiest child models I have ever come across, had their mother chosen to shove them into such a horrific career. However, for one day, I thought that taking them to the park and snapping a few photos was less harsh, and more like star-treatment. Much credit for assistance with both the photos and the kids goes to my fiance, Brandon. Thanks, love.

Some of my Favorite Family Times : )

These were taken in my Texas hometown or on excursions to anywhere worthwhile. We are a family with six kids (yes, you may call us the Brady Bunch), so there are quite a few faces to get familiar with.

The old is new

My sweet parents, in their vast wisdom, decided that a wonderful graduation gift would be a 3-week tour of Europe. Simply put: best thing ever. This was in 2005 across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France.

Opryland actually worked out…?

Shall I begin with my most recent photo excursion? Yes, yes. These are the absolute keepers from the Alicia and Jon engagement escapade, which i found to be more than delightful. Let’s see your thoughts on the matter.
